Several road closures will be in effect on Monday 20 February 2017 as Gauteng Premier David Makhura to deliver his fourth State of the Province Address (SoPA).

Due to the nature of event, the Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) would like to inform motorists including public transports users traveling around and to the Green Hills Stadium that some street closures will be implemented. This also includes ensuring ease of access for members of the legislature and all invited guests.

The following roads and intersections will be closed and monitored from 6am on the day; there will be full closure of Northway and Crane roads with Delmas road to be avoided due to the condition of the road.
The following intersections will be monitored but not closed off:
• Zuurbekom and Cooke;
• N12 and R28;
• R559 and Carletonville roads; and
• R28 Krugersdorp
The GPG said inconveniences caused to local motorists as a result of these road closures are regretted, and motorists will be redirected to alternative routes.

Premier, David Makhura will deliver his address at 11h00 and to be followed by a public address at Ramosa Hall in Mohlakeng.
