Service Name: Municipal Institutional Support Centre (MISC)

Description/Objective: The MISC is aimed at supporting municipalities to deliver effective, efficient and economical services to their communities and to build capability within DDPLG and at municipalities. In addition best practices that can be deployed across all municipalities have been established.

Clients: All municipalities

Condition: The various municipalities need to formally request the assistance of MISC by way of writing motivating what help is needed and the reasons why assistance should be forthcoming. The assistance required must fit within the workstreams operated by the MISC detailed above.

Procedures: A formal request must be made addressed to the MISC which will evaluate and make a decision in its fortnightly task team meetings.
